To register for the Sunset Ridge Barracuda Swim Team, please download the Swim Team Registration Form and fill it out completely.

Checks should be made out to Sunset Ridge Racquet & Swim Club for $90 per swimmer by May 29th. There is no new registration after May 29th.

Checks should be mailed with your completed registration form directly to Cyndy Sanders at 5024 Sunset Fairways Drive, Holly Springs, NC 27540.

No new registrations will be accepted after May 31st unless a swimmer is new to the neighborhood.

Before Joining The Team **

Whether you have veteran swimmers or will be new to the swim team, there are two items that will be strictly enforced this summer season:

  • Swimmers must be able to swim 15 yards, unassisted, and with a recognizable stroke.  If the coaches feel your swimmer is not safe in the water at the first practice, you will be asked to please wait until next season and instead enroll in swim lessons.  One option for lessons before this summer is Raleigh Swim Association. If there is an opportunity to evaluate swimmers before the first practice, that date & time will be announced through email & be posted to the web site.
  • The Barracuda team is Parent-Run. Therefore, every family must fulfill a minimum of 3 volunteer “points.” These will be explained at the parent's meeting.  Do not register your child if you do not plan to assist in the group effort. Thanks!

Swimsuits  Team suits are not included in the registration fee. Each swimmer must have a team suit for the meets. Swimsuit fitting & ordering will take place on April 18th during the Registration Meeting. Each family may also order your team suit online or over the phone as explained below:

Ordering Team Swimsuits  Please order your suit ASAP. There are 2 ways to order your suit after the April 18th Registration Meeting:

  • Call in your suit order, (or go directly to the new Kast-A-Way store if you need to try on suits for sizes.)  The Kast-A-Way store is located in Raleigh at 6274-108 Glenwood Avenue (near Goldsmith's). The phone is 781-3775 if you have questions or want to order over the phone. Tell them you are with the Sunset Ridge Barracudas.

OR

  • Order on-line on our personal Kast-a-Way team web page to get the 20% discount. (Here you will pay a $5 shipping charge and your suit will be sent directly to your home.)
  • Log onto www.kastawayswimwear.com
  • Click on Teams in the upper right corner
  • Enter the username:  SUNSETRIDG
  • Enter the password:  Barracudas
  • Order your suit
